Thanksgiving Week: Kick Starbucks Out!

Thanksgiving is coming up and we all are thankful for so many things. We're thankful for the food on our tables, the friends around us, and the good things we can find in this world. Starbucks is thankful for sweatshop labour, being able to steal land from farmers, and a complacent consumer base. It's time that we stand up for the farmers that toil every day to make coffee because they have no other option. It's time that we stand up for the workers trying to unionize in Starbucks. It's time that we stand up for justice. It's time that we stand up to Starbucks and make it clear that they are *not* welcome in our community.

Come down for a day full of anti-starbucks action, consumer education, strategizing, and anti-capitalist craziness! Bring signs, bring pamphlets, bring food/drinks, and bring your hearts. Bring pens, paper, cell phones, clipboards, and general supplies. The event is only limited by your imagination. This is direct non-violent action. Bring bandannas, crazy costumes, and stilts. Bring your philosophies, lawn chairs, and minds.

If possible, please bring vegan food and refreshments so we can keep the troops going as well as fair trade coffee to educate consumers with. Who knows, if we get enough people we might send delegations to protest nearby chain stores. The only limit is what you're willing to do and how many friends you bring. If you need a ride, contact me directly. I'm asking that everybody dress in red, but don't let me tell you what to do. Get creative. I'd appreciate if you could RSVP to me so I can plan how many supplies I will need to/can bring and coordinate things.
I will arrive at 9:00 AM and I will stay there *all day*. Join me any time, but I'll be leaving around 5:00PM.

The resistance is growing quickly in Colorado. We've got our IMC back and we've got our game faces on. Now get your game on.
