Labor sociologist and working class activist Kim Scipes will discuss "U.S. Labor and Imperialism, Occupy, and Related Topics."

About Kim Scipes (the "c" is silent): 30 years as a labor organizer advocate; involved in Madison uprising and Occupy; teaches sociology at Purdue University in nw Indiana; lives in Chicago.  His latest book,

AFL-CIO's Secret War against Developing Country Workers: Solidarity or Sabotage?
