The COimc meeting is now going to happen on a weekly basis and we are going to work to find days that work best for all.

We have been working on getting the site software updated and improving the user experience on the site.

INDYMEDIA NEWSREAL, a monthly television series, brings progressive grassroots organizing, going on in your backyard, to a national television audience.

Saturday, June 14th more than 20 media activists gathered together at the Five Points Media Center in the offices of Free Speech TV to learn how to be the media.

NYC Indymedia Totally Bans My Articles from Publication

In the quiet secrecy of what seems to be a conspiratorial siege mentality NYC Indymedia has unofficially but secretly banned my writing from being published on the Open News Wire entirely. I say conspiratorial because for NYC Indymedia to completely ban my writing and publishing from the site it would require the action of more than one person to do so.
