Local activist victim of police abuse

Local activist Larry Hales posted this on December 3. About 40 people attended the press conference at police headquarters, where Larry spoke about what occurred. There is good reason to be concerned that Larry, as a visible, outspoken African American activist, was targeted, and that authorities are engaging in actions like this to attempt to intimidate people planning to demonstrate at the DNC next August. Larry has legal representation.
