To mark the 5th anniversary of the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, a rally will be held Sunday, March 16, 1:30 pm, West Steps, State Capitol. Speakers, music, tabling and the opportunity to say how you'd rather see the $720 million a day going to Iraq spent.

To mark the fifth anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq, a rally will be held Sunday, March 16, 1:30 pm, west steps, state capitol. The theme of the rally will be "The cost of war," to tie in with an AFSC campaign pointing out that the US is spending $500,000 a minute, $720 million a day on a war that should never have happened. People will have the opportunity to show how the money could be better spent on meeting human needs.
