Student/Farmworker Alliance (sfalliance.org) members are taking to the streets across the country for the "Kingdoom" Days of Action from now through November 4. Allies of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (ciw-online.org) are demanding that fast-food giant Burger King take responsibility for the sweatshop conditions and human rights abuses in its tomato supply chain.
Check out a listing of actions that you can participate in here: www.sfalliance.org/BKfall07list.html
A few days ago at Market Street Station I was harassed by the RTD officer for exercising my rights to:
1. Take pictures of RTD officers
2. Take pictures of public property
3. Take pictures from public property
I was approached and harassed by an RTD officer who said that it was illegal to:
1. Take pictures of anybody, including the homeless man in question, without written consent.
2. Take pictures of RTD officers
3. Take pictures of RTD buildings/property
4. Take pictures while on RTD property (AKA public property)
While the average 21st Century citizen prefers not to think about this crime syndrome, stalking groups have been using "civilian psychological warfare" on their targets now for at least two decades.
And talking about this taboo topic brings a very heavy "don't spoil my day" response. People not affected simply refuse to listen to information on stalking by more than one stalker. Kind of like the way folks don't like hearing about cancer.
